Gary Phillips is a Managing Director and Co-Head’s Eastdil Secured’s equity sale and joint venture business in New York, active in the office, multifamily, retail, life science, and industrial sectors.

Prior to joining Eastdil Secured, Gary spent nearly two decades on the principal investing side of real estate, deploying over $20 billion. Most recently, Gary was Managing Director and Head of Acquisitions and Equity Investments at Allianz Real Estate of America. In this role, Mr. Phillips oversaw all facets of the equity originations business for Allianz within the Americas, including all direct acquisitions, joint venture programs, and fund investments. Prior to Allianz, Mr. Phillips spent approximately eight years at Clarion Partners as a member of its acquisitions team, and he started his real estate career at Deutsche Bank/RREEF in 2000 as a member of its research team. Mr. Phillips earned his BBA in Finance from The George Washington University.
