National Jewish Health is a world leader in the care and research of interstitial lung disease, a  group of more than 200 conditions, including pulmonary fibrosis, that cause inflammation and scarring in the lungs. Our experts are working to identify the disease earlier, before irreversible scarring occurs, while advancing promising research aimed at slowing, stopping and potentially reversing lung damage.
