Slater relocated to New York in the early 2000s after graduating from the University of San Diego. A former collegiate basketball player, Slater maintains his competitive edge by participating in local leagues across the city and remains a passionate supporter of the Knicks. He also enjoys immersing himself in the city’s rich cultural scene, frequently visiting museums and galleries with his wife, Jayme, and their daughter, Wilhelmina.
