Understanding Reproductive Health Concerns in Men with CF

Search Clinical Trials

Trial Objectives

Ninety-five percent of men with cystic fibrosis (CF) experience infertility, but it is rarely discussed with their health care providers. Researchers want to change this, but first need to better understand the reproductive concerns of these men.  Volunteers are needed to complete a one-time online survey that assesses general and CF-specific sexual reproductive health (SRH) knowledge, addresses reproductive health concerns specific to CF, and compares SRH concerns and behaviors of adolescent and young men with CF to that of older men with CF.

The goal of this study is to develop ways for health care providers to educate men with CF about infertility and to identify ways for men with CF to integrate care for their reproductive health into their daily routines.
