Patient Education Classes & Support Groups Temporarily Suspended (March 2022)
National Jewish Health is committed to the safety of our patients, staff and the community. Due to the concerns around COVID-19, we are temporarily suspending all patient education classes and support groups on our campus. We plan to resume these groups as soon as possible. Some have been moved to live web conferences and a link will be posted when available. Please check with the class or support group organizer for further information. Thank you for your understanding.
Our Patient Education Program at National Jewish Health provides many free educational opportunities and support groups to assist patients and caregivers with managing illnesses and chronic conditions.
It can be overwhelming as a patient or caregiver to learn about the many facets of managing an illness or chronic condition. Download free Med Facts and Understanding Booklets to learn more about your disease.
There are a number of free weekly group classes for patients and family members. Nurses, physical therapists, recreational therapists, pharmacists and nutritionists teach the classes. Discussion is encouraged.

Patient education plans are designed by our caregivers to meet the needs of each individual patient and their family. Working one-on-one with educators, patients learn and demonstrate skills such as taking medication, and they practice problem solving.
