Dr. Akrum Al-Zubaidi Joins National Jewish Health


Denver, CO —

Akrum Al-ZubaidiAkrum Al-Zubaidi, DO, FCCP, has joined the renowned faculty at National Jewish Health in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. He comes to National Jewish Health from Valley View Hospital in Glenwood Springs, Colo. Dr. Al-Zubaidi previously served as an interventional pulmonary fellow at National Jewish Health. He is fluent in English and Arabic. Dr. Al-Zubaidi will see patients at the National Jewish Health main campus in Denver.

Dr. Al-Zubaidi received his medical degree at Touro University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Vallejo, California and a Human Genetics Post-Baccalaureate Certificate from the Medical College of Virginia. He completed residency and fellowship training at Valley Hospital Medical Center in Las Vegas. Dr. Al-Zubaidi has authored several research publications and has presented at numerous symposia. His clinical and research interests include detection and management of lung nodules through interventional pulmonology and innovative technology, and he will continue that line of research and clinical work at National Jewish Health.
