Dr. Silpa Krefft Joins National Jewish Health


Denver, CO —

Dr. Silpa KrefftSilpa Krefft, MD, MPH, has joined the renowned faculty at National Jewish Health in the Division of Environmental and Occupational Health Sciences. Dr. Krefft comes to National Jewish Health after completing combined fellowship training in pulmonary/critical care medicine, and occupational and environmental medicine at the University of Colorado/Anschutz Medical Campus. In addition, she has served a pair of clinical externships in Guatemala. Dr. Krefft is fluent in English, Spanish and Telugu. She will see patients at the National Jewish Health main campus in Denver.

Dr. Krefft received her medical degree at the University of Texas Health Science Center in San Antonio and her Master of Public Health from the Colorado School of Public Health. She completed residency and fellowship training at Boston University Medical Center as well as the University of Colorado/Anschutz Medical Campus. Dr. Krefft has clinical and research interests in the diagnosis and treatment of occupational and environmental lung diseases, such as deployment-related bronchiolitis and asthma, and will continue that line of research and clinical work at National Jewish Health.
