Lia McGibbon Joins National Jewish Health


DENVER —

Lia McGibbonLia McGibbon, DO, has joined the faculty at National Jewish Health in the Division of Rheumatology and Department of Medicine. She comes to National Jewish Health from the El Nuevo San Juan Health Center in Bronx, NY, where she provided care for an underserved population in a federally qualified health center. Additionally, she served as an Academic Hospitalist at Jacobi Medical Center. Dr. McGibbon specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of all rheumatologic diseases including, lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, inflammatory muscle diseases and gout. She will see patients at the National Jewish Health main campus in Denver.  
 

Dr. McGibbon received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences. She served her clinical fellowship at Montefiore Medical Center at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. McGibbon is board certified in rheumatology and internal medicine.
