TAG Restaurant Group launches fundraising campaign to benefit Morgridge Academy at National Jewish Health

DENVER —

On June 1, 2017, TAG Restaurant Group will launch Eat. Drink. Donate. to raise critical funds and awareness for Morgridge Academy, a free K-8 school for chronically ill children located on the National Jewish Health campus.

The Eat. Drink. Donate. campaign begins at TAG Restaurant, 1441 Larimer Street, and will rotate to different TAG Restaurant Group locations each month through the end of the year. Additional locations include: TAG Burger Bar, Mister Tuna, Los Chingones, Guard and Grace, Bubu, FNG and HashTAG. During the campaign, restaurant customers will have the option to add a donation to their bill, and on the first Tuesday of the month, 15 percent of all sales will be donated to the school.

To recognize the generosity of Troy Guard, chef/owner of TAG Restaurant Group, Morgridge Academy students recently dedicated the school’s garden in his name. The Guard Garden serves as an outdoor extension of the classroom and provides students and their families access to fresh produce and hands-on learning about why healthy food is important for growing bodies. A series of Cooking with Troy videos featuring Morgridge Academy students and produce grown in the Guard Garden will be shared this summer offering recipes and tips on cooking with fresh produce.
