Dr. Pranav Periyalwar Joins National Jewish Health Gastroenterology Team


Denver, CO —

Pranav PeriyalwarPranav Periyalwar, MD, has joined the faculty at National Jewish Health in the Division of Gastroenterology. He comes to National Jewish Health from the University Hospitals of Cleveland and Case Western Reserve University where he served as a gastroenterology staff physician and assistant professor of medicine respectively. Dr. Periyalwar specializes in gastrointestinal disease, endoscopy and liver disease. He sees patients and performs procedures on the National Jewish Health main campus.

Dr. Periyalwar received his medical degree at St. George’s University School of Medicine. He completed his fellowship and residency in gastroenterology at Case Western Reserve University MetroHealth Medical Center. Additionally, Dr. Periyalwar has participated in research projects focused on liver disease and co-authored peer-reviewed publications. He is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association, American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.
