Rev the Runway Raises More Than $270,000 for National Jewish Health

The fifth anniversary of Rev the Runway fashion show was held on November 3, 2022, with 450 guests in attendance. The event raised more than $270,000 to support National Jewish Health, the nation’s leading respiratory hospital. Funds raised will help provide compassionate care for children and adults and support groundbreaking research in respiratory, cardiac, immune and related diseases. This signature event has raised more than $1 million since it began in 2017.  This year’s event was presented by Neiman Marcus and Mercedes-Benz of Denver, where the event was hosted.

“It has been an honor to celebrate National Jewish Health at the fifth anniversary of Rev the Runway,” said Robin Chotin, who co-chaired the event with Bonnie Mandarich and Abby Perlmutter Miller. “What could be better than a glamorous evening of cars, fashion, and good company, all while benefiting such an amazing institution.”

To mark the event’s five-year milestone, inaugural co-chairs Chotin, Mandarich and Perlmutter Miller returned to co-chair this year’s event. Elizabeth Hamilton, group publisher of Colorado Expression Magazine, served as honorary chair, and a dedicated committee of 50 volunteers, also known as “The Drivers”, helped to drive the event’s success.
“It's an amazing group of people that put on this event which honors the doctors and all the incredible people at National Jewish Health who are saving lives every day,” Hamilton said.

Lauren Whitney of CBS4 led the evening’s program as emcee. She introduced featured speaker Jinny Tavee, MD, chief of the Division of Neurology & Behavioral Health at National Jewish Health, who highlighted the institution’s multidisciplinary neurology team that diagnoses the most complex neurologic conditions, and her exploration of integrative, holistic practices to help patients manage symptoms.
The Mercedes-Benz of Denver’s showroom was transformed into a high-fashion runway and featured exclusive looks from favorite and emerging designers, including Carolina Hererra, Alexander McQueen, Dolce & Gabbana, Balenciaga, and Victoria Beckham. The co-chairs announced awards for attendees selected in three categories: Best Dressed, Vintage Couture and Fashion Forward.
Guests enjoyed gourmet appetizers, cocktails and decadent desserts from some of Denver’s top restaurants, including Dessert Holdings, Fresh Food Further, Jack’s on Pearl, Jing, Le Bilboquet, Señor Bear and Shanahan’s.
