Rev the Runway Raises Nearly $385,000 for National Jewish Health
DENVER —
The seventh annual Rev the Runway fashion show was held on November 7, 2024, with more than 500 guests in attendance. The sold-out event raised nearly $385,000 to support National Jewish Health, the leading respiratory hospital in the nation. Funds raised will help provide compassionate care for children and adults and support groundbreaking research in respiratory, cardiac, immune and related diseases. The event was presented by Neiman Marcus and Mercedes-Benz of Denver, where the event was hosted.
This year, the Chris & Joy Dinsdale Family Foundation and The Wallunas Family Charitable Fund were title sponsors of the event. Joy Dinsdale served as chair, and daughters Chloé Dinsdale Wallunas, Jillian Dinsdale Schmidt and Julie Dinsdale helped to plan the style-driven event as co-chairs. Chris Dinsdale, a member of the National Jewish Health Board of Directors, presented remarks about the hospital’s 125-year history of life-changing care and groundbreaking medical discoveries. At the event, the family welcomed guests and thanked all for their support of National Jewish Health.
“The event was a labor of love with so many people bringing creativity and planning together to make the night a success,” said chair Joy Dinsdale. “Our family is aware of the impressive global reputation of National Jewish Health for providing innovative research and patient care — offered as patient need dictates not according to ability to pay.”
In addition, a dedicated committee of more than 40 volunteers, known as “The Fashionistas,” helped to make the event a success. Lauren Whitney of CBS Colorado led the evening’s program as emcee, which she has done every year since Rev the Runway began, and served on the committee. The Mercedes-Benz of Denver’s showroom was transformed into an elegant, high-fashion runway, featuring exclusive looks of the season from favorite designers, including Carolina Herrera, Dolce & Gabbana, Oscar de la Renta and Ralph Lauren. The fashion show was produced by Margaret Merritt, who has produced many luxury runway shows for Neiman Marcus, Michael Kors, Phoenix Fashion Week and other world-renowned brands and designers.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed gourmet appetizers and hand-crafted cocktails from some of Denver’s top restaurants, including Safta, Le Bilboquet, Jing, Narrative, Edge, Eddie V’s, Ocean Prime and Birdcall.
