Los Angeles Black & White Ball Raises $430,000 for National Jewish Health

DENVER - National Jewish Health honored Winston Mar, senior managing director and partner at CR3 Partners, LLC, and Teri Stratton, executive director at Hilco Global and the head of investment banking of Hilco Corporate Finance, at the annual L.A. Black & White Ball on Saturday, June 13, 2026. The event raised $430,000 for care and research at National Jewish Health, the leading respiratory hospital in the nation.

Los Angeles’ top attorneys, CPAs, finance professionals and executives in the apparel, real estate, investment banking and entertainment industries gathered at The Fairmont Century Plaza for the event, which celebrated noir nights, a prosperous period of time when Los Angeles cemented its status as the world leader in movie-making. The Black & White Ball, presented this year by CR3 Partners and Hilco Global, has been recognizing Los Angeles-area professionals and raising funds for Denver-based National Jewish Health for over 61 years.

“As a member of the Council of National Trustees for the past 30 years, I have seen firsthand how deeply National Jewish Health values its connection to the Los Angeles community. I know many people whose lives have been touched by the care and expertise of this remarkable institution,” said Jeff Kapor, an attorney and partner with Silver Sponsor Buchalter. “This event is one of the reasons the hospital has built such a strong and enduring network of friends and supporters throughout our region.”

Mar and Stratton received the prestigious Humanitarian Award, which recognizes individuals across the country who have made significant civic and charitable contributions to their communities and professions.

Dinner co-chairs were National Jewish Health Trustee and former honoree Gail K. Bernstein, National Jewish Health Trustee Sydnee Breuer, with Rosenthal Capital Group, National Jewish Health Trustee Ronald S. Friedman, with CBIZ, and National Jewish Health Trustee and former honoree Debbie Steinberg. Miles Staglik, with CR3 Partners, and Joseph Tourouk, with Hilco Global, served as honoree co-chairs.
