Rev the Runway Aspen Event Benefiting National Jewish Health Raises Record Breaking Amount


DENVER - More than 300 guests raised over $830,000, setting a new record for the third annual Rev the Runway Aspen Fashion Show, an event held in support of National Jewish Health. The event, presented by Nancy C. and Richard R. Rogers, brought together the latest fashions from Aspen-area boutiques and luxury cars to benefit the leading respiratory hospital in the nation. It was held on Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, at Doerr-Hosier Center at Aspen Meadows.

At the event, modern style icon Aerin Lauder and the Lauder Family received the hospital’s prestigious Humanitarian Award for their leadership in the business, philanthropic and Aspen communities. Read more about the Lauder family.

National Jewish Health, the leading respiratory hospital in the nation and a destination for excellence in collaborative multispecialty care is known worldwide for its commitment to care and discovery science. In fiscal year 2026, National Jewish Health treated nearly 48,000 children and adults and provided nearly $43 million in charity care, a 13% increase from 2025.

“At National Jewish Health, everything we do is because one in four people will experience a life-threatening breathing episode in their lifetime,” said Evan Zucker, former chair of the Board of Directors and current Board member. “Your efforts here in Aspen and nationwide have helped us change the paradigm for many debilitating diseases, such as severe asthma, COPD, lung cancer and severe allergies.”

The event also raised $137,000 for the National Jewish Health Morgridge Academy for children with chronic illnesses. It is the only school of its kind on a medical campus in the country and has served more than 2,000 kindergarteners through eighth graders in its nearly 50-year history.

“After three incredible years, Rev the Runway has become one of Aspen’s most anticipated summer events. We are deeply grateful to every boutique and to the entire Aspen community for making this celebration of fashion, community, and purpose so extraordinary,” said event co-chairs Jane Berg and Denise Cohen, with Cohen also serving as a National Jewish Health trustee.

Kari Wells, a TV personality, actress, author and philanthropist, served as emcee. More than 20 Aspen-area boutiques displayed their fashion on the runway. The event also named fashion award recipients in the Best Dressed, Vintage Couture and Fashion Forward categories.

This year marks the third annual Rev the Runway Aspen event. Before Rev the Runway, National Jewish Health held its annual Bella Sera Aspen event for over 20 years, honoring many of Aspen’s community leaders and philanthropists. Nancy Rogers and her late husband, Richard, served as presenting sponsors for over 10 years.
