He validated everything I had been saying and didn't make me feel like I was crazy. He made me feel seen, heard, and understood. He helped me to understand where we are now in the progression of the disease, what he can and can't do for me, how I can help myself to get better, Informed me of help that is available, and most of all, just listened to me as a human in a very painful, frustrating journey of finding out what all these symptoms were that had taken over my life, but no other physicians could figure out.
