About Morgridge Academy at National Jewish Health
Morgridge Academy is the only school of its kind on a medical campus in the country. It is a free K-8 school for children
who have chronic diseases that cause them to miss school and impede their ability to attend traditional school. It is uniquely designed to allow students with chronic illnesses to learn and play in an environment structured to meet their individual needs.

- Highly qualified and experienced teachers help students return to grade level.
What health conditions do students at Morgridge Academy have?
- Students at the school suffer from asthma, eczema, food allergies, juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, sickle cell anemia, heart problems or other health issues.
- Registered nurses manage asthma pretreatments and exacerbations, eczema flares and other health needs during the school day.

- Morgridge Academy follows CDE curriculum designed to provide a broad-based education and problem-based learning.
- Students follow a rigorous academic program augmented by arts and physical education offerings.

- Small classes of 12-15 students encourage both group and individual learning experiences.
