Dr. Sarah Rhoads Joins the National Jewish Health Pulmonology Team

Dr. Rhoads completed her fellowship in Pulmonary & Critical Care Sciences at the University of Colorado School of Medicine in Aurora, Colorado, and is board-certified in pulmonary and critical care medicine. Her research is focused on improving outcomes for severe asthma, with earlier work focused on patient and family experiences in the intensive care unit, particularly with COVID-19. She has contributed to multiple published books, and has received several awards for humanism, teaching and research. She has presented her work at numerous national conferences.
Dr. Rhoads earned her medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and completed her residency at Rhode Island Hospital/Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, where she served as the Chief Resident for the Internal Medicine Residency program
