Our gastroenterology motility team will work with you to understand your symptoms and health history to diagnose all types of motility issues, including: 

  • Problems with the esophagus: trouble swallowing, acid reflux or chronic heartburn, food getting stuck or moving slowly
  • Problems with the stomach: nausea or vomiting that recurs, feeling full too quickly, having trouble digesting food, food moving too slowly or too quickly through the stomach
  • Problems with intestines or bowels: bloating, gas, food sensitivities like lactose intolerance, chronic constipation, irregular bowel, irritable bowel syndrome or bacterial overgrowth
  • Problems with bowel movements and the pelvic floor: constipation, difficulty passing stool, loss of bowel control or pain or discomfort with bowel movements
