Sarah Rhoads

Sarah Rhoads, MD, is a pulmonologist at National Jewish Health. Dr. Rhoads is in the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine.

Special Interests

I practice general pulmonary medicine with a focus on asthma and obstructive lung disease. In addition, I practice critical care and see admitted patients with a variety of pulmonary diseases at affiliated hospitals. My research, under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Wechsler, the director of the Cohen Family Asthma Institute, focuses on clinical and translational investigations of patients with airways disease. I have developed expertise in clinical trials and am passionate about investigating methods to improve the quality of life for our patients. Recent work has included investigations into the impact of sleep quality on patients’ disease control and mood, as well as evaluating factors affecting patient response to targeted biologic therapy.
