CHARM Study for Asthma
Trial Objectives
Researchers are participating in a study for creation of home-based asthma real-world measures with mobile health (CHARM). The goal of this study is to improve medical care for asthmatics with new mobile health technologies. Study participants will use at-home technologies to track and record health data and participate in surveys and questionnaires about their health.
Who Can Participate
People who have a diagnosis of uncontrolled or difficult-to-treat asthma OR an asthma control test (ACT) score less than or equal to 19 and have access to a smartphone.
Age: 18+ Gender: Any
Estimated Time Commitment
Participants will have a 2-3 in-person clinic visits of 45-90 minutes over 6-12 months.
Time Commitment Details
Participants will also complete monthly surveys and questionnaires at home during the 12-month period.

Payments are intended to compensate the participant for their time and effort during the study. Payments are typically given to the participant at the end of each completed study visit.
Reimbursements are intended to compensate the participant for travel-related expenses. They must be approved by the study staff and require you to turn in receipts. Travel reimbursement will vary from study to study.
