National Jewish Health Receives 4-Star Charity Rating

DENVER —

Designation through 2014 Given for Fiscal Management, Accountability and Transparency

National Jewish Health has received its fifth consecutive 4-Star rating from Charity Navigator, the nation’s premier independent evaluator of charities. The 4-Star rating is the highest rating given by Charity Navigator and signifies that National Jewish Health exceeds industry standards and outperforms most other charities of its type. The recognition is based on assessing the organization’s fiscal management, commitment to accountability and transparency.

“Only 4 percent of the charities we rate have received at least five consecutive 4-Star evaluations, indicating that National Jewish Health outperforms most other charities in America,” said Ken Berger, president and CEO of Charity Navigator. “This ‘exceptional’ designation from Charity Navigator differentiates National Jewish Health from its peers and demonstrates to the public it is worthy of their trust.”
